Overview
Reverend F. Mooshake was the Pastor of the German Evangelical Lutheran Church in San Francisco, CA, in 1863. (See San Francisco City Directory, 1863, p. 504.) The city directory also noted: "There is, during the week, a day school for girls and boys in the same building under the charge of the Pastor." (p. 504). In 1863, there was also another church with a smilar name, the 1st German Evangelical Lutheran Church, located on the north side of Greenwich Street, between Dupont and Stockton Streets. (See San Francisco City Directory, 1863, p. 504.)
