Vallejo, CA

Overview

In 1922, the Sperry Flour Company was the largest on the Pacific Coast, possessing eight mills in CA, WA and UT. Its Vallejo mill was the largest, able to produce 5,000 barrels of flour per day, double the size of the next largest, the Stockton Union Mills, that could process half that much. (See The Miller's Almanack, 1922, p. 214.)
