Overview

Roman Catholic Monterey Diocese rebuilt this church following the Loma Prieta Earthquake of 10/17/1989, basing its design on the previous brick facility erected in 1903. The previous Gothic Revival Style facility suffered significant damage in the temblor and had to be demolished. The current church had its dedication in 1994.
