Overview

Located at the southwest corner of Sansome and Washington Streets, the headquarters for the venerable Pacific Lumber Company (PALCO) was one of the later designs produced by the Palo Alto firm of Ernest Kump and Associates. The 8-story, brick-veneered office tower had an unusual, faceted design, providing views out in various directions. It had a steel frame for seismic rigidity.

Building Notes

The PALCO Headquarters occupied a 18,934-square-foot site.
