Building History

Alfred M. (1869-1942) and Lucy Brown Schillestad (1876-1960) resided in this boxy, Colonial Revival residence between c. 1905 and 1942, the year of the former's death. Alfred's parents, Ole and Regina, were early Puget Sound settlers from Norway. Ole was thought to have erected this house for his son and new bride, who were married on 08/20/1903.
