This Colonial Revival residence at 518 North Broadway was erected by W.E. Hervey for his own use. By 1915, the Smith & Tuthill Mortuary had occupied the building. In 1978-1979, 1st Federal Savings and Loan Association remodeled the house for office use.
The Hervey House had a notable curving portico on one side, supported by two-floor columns topped with Corinthian capitals.
