Los Angeles architect John Lautner (1911-1994) designed this house for Mrs. Fern Carr c. 1950. Sunset magazine illustrated the Carr House's living room storage wall for an article titled "Storage walls--handsome, flexible," vol. 110, no. 2, 02/1953, p. 66.
