Ard Eevin had been the residence of the Campbell Family from 1903-2011. Daniel Campbell was a son-in-law and business partner of Leslie Brand, collaborator with Henry Huntington in the development of the Red Line electric railway system in Southern CA.

The name "Ard Eevin," in Gaelic, translated to "heavenly view." In 2011, the house contained three bedrooms, 2.25 baths, four fireplaces, a formal dining room, and updated roof, plumbing, HVAC and electrical circuitry. In 01/2011, it had an asking price of $1.599 million, and sat on a lot containing 29,320 square feet.
