Exhibitor Isaac Victor, longtime owner of the Victor Theatre at 207 East Seaside Boulevard, sold it and another of his properties in 08/1948 to E.V. Tracy, operator of the Long Beach Tracy Theatre.

Located on the "Pike," a beachfront amusement area, the Victor seated only 396 people, making it a very small single-screen venue.

The Victor was remodeled in early 1950 and renamed the "Rainbow Theatre" when it reopened in 04/1950. The Rainbow owner was Joe Rankine, Jr.
