Overview

This ground-hugging, U-shaped house, formed around a walled courtyard, reflected Clarence Cullimore, Sr.'s interest in Early California adobe construction and floorplans.

Building History

According to his grandson, Clarence M. Cullimore Mercer, Clarence Cullimore, Sr., lived in this residence until 1965. His wife remained here until her passing in 1986. Their son, Clarence Cullimore, Jr., inherited the property at that time and resided here until he died in 2014; his son, Michael Earl Cullimore bought the house from his father's estate and relocated to it from Guam in 2015. (Thank you to Clarence M. Cullimore Mercer of Eugene, OR, who furnished this information to the author on 08/19/2015.)
