Building History

This residence was located nearby to Richard Neutra's renowned Warren and Katherine Tremaine House (1950) on Moore Road. Warren Tremaine, who divorced Katherine in 1969, commissioned the new Santa Barbara-based architectural firm of Warner and Gray to design 1636 Moore Road on a sub-divided portion of his property. Landscape architect Isabelle Greene designed this new residence's gardens.
