Prominent Seattle architects Bebb and Gould designed this residence for Clarence B. Blethen (1892-1973), son of Seattle Times publisher Alden J. Blethen (1845-1915).

This two-story, hipped roof residence had a notable porte-cochère and a curving driveway.
