According to the Los Angeles City Directory of 1890, F.O. Wyman, Jacob Gruendieke and Wheeler J. Bailey were officers of the Wyman, Gruendieke and Company, manufacturers of Oro Graude Lime. Its office and warehouse stood at 2nd Street and Vine Street in Los Angeles, CA. Gruendieke had been an original investor in the Hotel del Coronado, Coronado, CA, in 1887-1888.
