Transitional Resources purchased the residence at 2970 SW Avalon Way in Seattle, WA, in 1976, and turned it into a mental health facility. Some renovations occurred at this location c. 1980. The Highline Mental Health Association and Transitional Resources collaborated to begin its Intensive Residential Treatment Program at TRY House in 1990.

This residence had 5,130 gross square feet, 4,110 net. It occupied a 12,800-square-foot lot, next to a self-storage facility and across the street from the Nucor Steel Plant in 2011.
