Building History

Shopping center planner Victor D. Gruen (1903-1980) and landscape architect Garrett N. Eckbo (1910-2000) collaborated on the design of this urban renovation, creating a pedestrian mall in the heart of downtown Fresno, CA.

Building Notes

The CA State Historic Preservation Officer, Milford Wayne Donaldson, added the Fulton Mall to the California Register of Historic Resources on 08/20/2010. The shopping area was not, at the same time, listed on the National Park Service's National Register of Historic Places.
