The timber executive and banker, Julius H. Bloedel (1864-1957), lived with his wife, Mina Prentice Bloedel (1874-1951), at this address from at least 1918-1939. He was founder and President of Bloedel, Stewart and Welch, Limited, and Great Central Sawmills, Ltd. Bloedel also served as a Director of the Pacific National Bank of Seattle in 1939. At that time, he occupied Office #1529 at 1411 Fourth Avenue, Seattle.
