According to the Los Angeles Daily Journal of 07/09/1890, architect James H. Bradbeer had drawn up plans for a two-story house commissioned by Mrs. W.D. Godfrey. It was to be located at the corner of 30th Street and Grand Avenue, Los Angeles, CA, and was to cost $3,000.
