This school ended its operations before 1923; it became used as the Marne Hotel, patronized by artists and others with little money. When the painter Mark Tobey came to Seattle, WA, for the first time from New York in 1923, he lodged at the Marne Hotel.

An Asahel Curtis photo of Saint Rose's Academy dated from 1909.
