The Seattle Times reported in its 09/04/1960 issue: "The Iris, 25 units at 415 West Roy St., was sold by Mr. and Mrs. Robert B. Tindall to Mr. and Mrs. George L. Shafer for $145,000." (See "Sales of 3 Apartments Total $655,000," Seattle Times, 09/04/1960, p. 22.)
