Construction on the Masonic Home's Main Building began in 1926 and was done by 06/1927. This was the second retirement home built by the Masons in WA, the first having been built in Puyallup, WA, in 1911.

Land for the Masonic Home of Washington #2 was obtained in 1924; the 30.30-acre site had an assessed value of $15,406,700 in 2010. In that year, the property had three main facilities: a 5-story retirement apartment building (1926-1927), a 1-story convalescent hospital (1967), and 2-story, mixed-use retail/residential building (2004). The main, 5-story building had a commanding presence in the countryside, and was done in the Tudor Revival Style.
