Building History

The San Francisco architecture firm, Hertzka and Knowles, desigend this 33-story office tower for the Continental Insurance Company. In 2010, the building was owned by Unico Properties, of Seattle, WA, the real estate development arm of the University of Washington.

Building Notes

According to the Unico Properties web site: "In July 2008, 100 Pine was the first building in California to receive LEED®-Existing Building certification." (SeeAccessed 04/05/2010.) The Unico site indicated that 100 Pine Street had 402,500 square feet of rentable space in 2010.
