John D. Hall designed this Tudor Revival Style house for a physician, Hulett J. Wyckoff (who had an office in Medical-Dental Building in 1932) and his wife, Marie. By 1932, Hall had developed a modest local reputation for designing residences in the Tudor Style. he maintained an office at 422 Smith Tower in 1932. His residence was at 723 37th Avenue at that time.
