Building History

Architects Pietro Belluschi, Leonard L. Hunter and George J. Wimberly were named as critics by the Hawaii State Capitol Architect Advisory Committee in late 1960 to assist design architects John Carl Warnecke and Associates and Honolulu-based Belt, Lemmon and Lo. This second Hawaii State Capitol Building opened on 03/15/1969.
