According to an article appearing in the Western Architect and Engineer in 1961, the Christiana Restaurant was based on a "Bavarian mountain lodge." Terry and Moore were the interior designers and architects for the building; Robert H. Egan and James Mayeno worked on the project for the Terry and Moore firm. Irene McGowan designed the restaurant's light fixtures hung in the dining room.
