This house featured a Neo-Classical interior with a two-floor, central atrium covered by a glass and metal roof. It dated c. 1904. The atrium was ringed by Corinthian columns joined by arches on both floors. The exterior of the two-floor residence had the scalloped parapets and stucco exterior of the Mission Revival Style. The Borden House had bas relief ornamentation across much of its exterior; the parapet was ornamented with enlarged, foliate finials at its corners and the main pediment had significant ornamental detail.
