Overview

The five-floor, masonry-faced Hotel Raleigh was in operation by 1910 in Downtown Seattle, WA.

Building History

Alabama-born Seattle architect Henderson Ryan (1856-1927) designed the Hotel Raleigh, completed in 1907.It later was renamed the Imperial Hotel.

On 11/19/1998, Zenji Shibayama and others sold the building to the Alpha Imperial Building LLC for $1,100,000. Pioneer Northwest LLC bought it less two years later on 02/01/2000 for $5 million. Blackstone Corporation foreclosed on Pioneer Northwest on 01/14/2003, and took over ownership as the "4th Avenue Building LLC."

Its owner in 2019 was the 4th Avenue Building LLC.
