This house, set at the top of a hill, cost a miniscule $2,000 in 1936; the Priver House was illustrated in the Architectural Forum before 1940;

Soriano placed the main living room facing west, taking advantage of Pacific Ocean and Hollywood Hills views. A young professional couple commissioned Soriano to design the minimal, wood-framed, four-room design. A basement was left unfinished for future use. Walls were kept to a minimum to maximize interior space.
