In 2008, this nightclub, featuring on some nights electronic music, was raided for allowing its performer, Tim Sweeney, to play too loud. Police visited the club twice in one night to lower the volume. City officials cracked down on nightclub noise and violence during the 2005-2008 span. This was especially true for clubs in the Pioneer Sqaure, Belltown and Capitol Hill neighbrohoods. At 12:30 A.M. on 01/04/2009, Joseph Michael Ryan, a local hip-hop performer known by his stage name, 29-E,, was shot at the club. On 05/24/2005, Scott Shapiro and Karate Chop LLC purchased the building for $750,000 from Dennis and Dawn Douglass.

Tel: (206) 324-8000 (2008); King County Parcel #6003000140; the building is a brick-faced, one-story, flat-iron shaped building occupying an irregular polygonal portion of land located at the intersection of 13th Avenue, East Pike Street, 14th Avenue and East Madison Street. It was wood-framed and contained 4,928 square feet.
