The first Directors of the Mountain Meadows Country Club were A.C. Abbott of Pomona, CA, C.C. Warren of Glendora, CA, D.S. Newcomer of LaVerne, CA, and W.A. Johnstone of San Dimas, CA. In 1921, they planned for their country club to contain a clubhouse, two concrete tennis courts, an 18-hole golf course, a garage, and other auxiliary buildings. The club was set to cost $100,000.
