This depot operated from 1897-1940, when it was superceded by J.H. Christie's new one for the Southern Pacific Railroad.

When seen from the railroad tracks, this small station had a tiled hipped roof, with a hipped gable projecting in the center. A porch to shelter waiting passengers was supported by thin wood columns interspersed with arches.
