This cruciform factory, consisted of two wings of offices, a wing containing rooms related to warehouse needs and communal spaces, and a huge warehouse. A modernist garden, perhaps designed by Thomas Church or Garrett Eckbo, was located off of the communal wing. It won an Award of Merit from the American Institute of Architects in 1953 in the Office/Industrial category.
