Beatrice and Robert Cameron Rogers commissioned architect Samuel Ilsley to design this 3-story, 27-room residence and building contractor Christoph Tornoe to erect it. The Rogers lived here together between 1900-1912 before Robert died; Beatrice lived on in the house until 1943.

The Tudor Style Rogers House was made Santa Barbara County Historic Landmark #15 in 1978 and 1980.
