Notes:
This article discussed the fate of three small houses designed by Richard Neutra in Los Altos, CA; of the three residences built in a one-time orchard, one was demolished and another heavily remodeled. The owner of the final house, John Gusto, proposed in 2000 to enlarge it, but was blocked by Los Altos city officials. Gusto tried to sell the structure but couldn't, and, in the end, donated the dwelling to the city for its use as a meeting and architecture exhibition space. The article also discussed Dr. Kingman Ho's modern house in Mount Baker, Seattle, which he eventually sold to bidders who dismantled it and moved it to Gig Harbor, WA.
