The 1953 Good Design Exhibit, selected and jointly sponsored by New York's Museum of Modern Art and the Merchandise Mart of Chicago, will be shown at the Long Beach Municipal Art Center, 2300 E Ocean Blvd., July 12 through Aug. 9. This is probably the major exhibition of modern furniture and furnshings in the United States. Samuel Heavenrich, the center's director, is being advised for the showing by a committee of John Entenza of Arts and Architecture, Edward Frank, furniture dealer, and Charles Luckman and Richard Neutra, architects.
