"Architect picked--The Board [Seattle Board of Public Works] awarded a contract to Bindon & Wright to design Fire Station No. 32 at 4525 44th Av. S.W. The estimated cost is $200,000. Fire Chief Gordon F. Vickery said the station will extend from 44th Avenue Southwest to Glenn Way Southwest and because of sloping terrain will be two stories in front and three on the rear. Bindon & Wright also designed Station No. 40, to be erected at 35th Avenue Northeast and Northeast 94th Street. Construction will begin in about 90 days."
