Teressa was listed as an identifying witness on Howard Schulze's US Passport application of 08/19/1920, and had known him for several years. She lived in Washington, DC, in 1920. From at least 1942 until 1949, and perhaps longer, she worked as an interior designer in New York, NY.

Howard Schulze made a pleasure trip to Havana, Cuba, leaving from Key West, FL, in 1920. His US Passport application of 08/19/1920 indicated that he was a "personal friend of the US Minister to Cuba." According to this application, at age 33, Schulze stood 5-feet, 10-inches tall, and had a high forehead, medium-large nose, fair complexion, medium mouth, round chin, oval face, brown hair and brown eyes.
