Personal

Relocation

Overman was born in Seattle, and attended high school here. He enlisted in the US Army in 1944 and fought in the European theatre, with the Army HQ Battery #657th Field Artillery Battalion. He was discharged from the army in 06/1946, at which time he returned to Seattle. He matriculated at the University of Washington, and graduated with a degree in architecture in 1951. While he was at school, he began working for the Puget Sound Bridge and Drydock Company in 1949. He worked with this firm for 17 years before moving to the Boeing Company. At Boeing, he traveled across the globe working in customer service.

He passed away from prostate cancer at Virginia Mason Hospital in Seattle at the age of 90 years and 11 months.

His parents were Fred B. Overman and Donna L. Garland Overman.

Spouse

He married Nina P. Brown in 09/1948.

Children

He and Nina had two children, Gregg and Debra.
