The 1920 US Census also noted that he worked as an architect in the State Architect's Office.

Born in Aston Cantlow, Stratford-on-Avon District, Warwickshire, England, Widdowson immigrated to the US in 1907, and was naturalized in 1911, according to 1920 US Census documents.

In 1920, Widdowson, his wife and two daughters lived at 1224 Dolores Highway in Sacramento, CA.

Both Arthur and Florence Widdowson were buried at the East Lawn Memorial Park, Sacramento, CA.

Spouse

He married Florence K. Turner Widdowson (1879-1969), who was also English by birth. They married at Eckington, Eckington, Derbyshire, England, on 05/15/1909. Florence outlived her husband by 38 years.
