Biographical Notes

Dates of his birth do not agree. Information written in his own hand on his Draft Registration Card indicated a date of 02/28/1883. Find a Grave.com had the date from his headstone indicating it to have been 02/28/1881. The US Census of 1900 also had his birthday as 02/1883. The date written in his own hand was probably the most reliable.

MacGibbon was a member of the Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks (BPOE) in 1913.
