Some of Rosemary Harwood's papers are stored in the City of Seattle, Municipal Archives, "Rosemary Horwood Records, 1957-1971." Other papers are held in the "Rosemary Horwood Papers 1940-1981" Collection at the University of Washington Libraries, Department of Special Collections.

B.Arch., at the University of Washington (UW), Seattle, in 1943. She served as the Sous-Massier of the Atelier, the student organization at UW. A junior design project entitled "County Courthouse and Municipal Office Building Facing a Large Park," appeared in the 1943-1946 Year Book of the School of Architecture at the University of Washington, np, 1946.

Rosemary L. Thomas married Edgar M. Horwood. With Edgar, she co-wrote five books on architecture and urban planning.
