In 1920, he lived with his parents William and Regina at 2657 37th Avenue SW in West Seattle, WA. In addition to his parents, Richard lived with four siblings, his paternal grandmother Mary Hainsworth (born c. 1832 in England), maternal grandfather Richard H. Stretch (born c. 1836 in England) and a household servant, Olga Pederson (born c. 1878 in Norway). Mary Hainsworth came to the US in 1854 (naturalized in 1866), and Richard Stretch in 1860, according to the 1920 US Census. His mother Regina Florence Stretch (born 1874 in England-d. 12/23/1945 in King County, WA) was born in England. William's parents had English ancestry, as well. They wed in 1895 in West Seattle.
