Principal, Edwin Evensta, Building Contractor, Minneapolis, MN, c. 1892; the Minneapolis City Directory of 1895 noted that he was a partner in the firm of Lindstrom and Evensta, Building Contractors. 1898, he was a partner in a contracting business with Charles E. Hagstrom, which had two offices listed, one at 606 33rd Avenue North and and another at 1514 Emerson Avenue North. By 1900, the 606 33rd Avenue North office was the only one listed in that year's directory. By 1907, Evensta and Hagstrom operated their business from Office 201 Northwestern Building. Hagstrom and Evensta continued their partnership until about 1909. Principal, E.G. Evensta and Company, Minneapolis, MN, c. 1910- ; Evensta partnered with Ole C. Evenson in his new business, E.G. Evensta and Company, c. 1910.

Personal

Evensta was born in Norway, and had migrated to the US in c. 1889 . According to the Minneapolis,MN, City Directory of 1892, he had an address of 2230 Washington Avenue North in Minneapolis. In 1895, he operated his building contracting office with David Lindstrom at 2309 Washington Avenue North in Minneapolis. He died in Ramsey County, MN. He lived at 3315 North 6th Street in Minneapolis from at least 1910-1915.

He was the son of John E. and Anna Evensta.

He married Anna Evensta.

Evensta did a great deal of work for the Hill Family's Great Northern Railroad in the early 20th century. He also was an inventor, creating the "laundry tub tray" and the "laundry tub faucet" during the early 1920s.
