President, Compass Construction, Seattle, WA, 1998-2014; the web site of Compass Construction noted of Coleman in 2012: "Ken founded Compass Construction in 1998 and continues to oversee all of Compass's operations. Ken is a graduate of University of Washington with a degree in Environmental Design. Ken's architecture background and 30 years of construction experience as both a superintendent and project management, give him a unique perspective in dissecting plans and coordinating all aspects of construction." Relocation

Born in Seattle, Kenneth Coleman attended high school and college in that city before spending time during the 1980s employed in the construction industry in CA, working on projects in San Jose, Monterey, San Francisco and Irvine. He worked on the erection of the Fairmont Hotel in San Jose, CA, c. 1986.

Three years later, he and his new bride, Sharon, returned to Seattle, where they resided in the Mt. Baker neighborhood. Coleman's firm, Compass Construction built several projects in Mt. Baker, including the Atrium Apartments.

Coleman passed away following a year-and-a-half struggle with colon cancer.

Parents

His parents were Julian Franklin Coleman and Margaret Squillace Coleman, the middle of three children. His siblings were his sister, Chris Coleman Bimson, and brother, Kevin Coleman.

Spouse

He married Sharon Coleman.

Children

He and Sharon had one child, Cathleen Coleman.
