The architect Otto Heinrich Neher was born in Weinsberg, Baden-Württemberg, Germany, on 04/21/1878. As per US naturalization paperwork of 10/30/1911, Neher immigrated from that country to the US in 1902. He traveled aboard the Norddeutscher Lloyd liner, S.S. Kronprinz Wilhelm. The trip took about two weeks between 11/15/1902 and 11/29/1902. Neher arrived in CA by 07/01/1904, meaning he lived for a little less than two years elsewhere in the US. He was naturalized an American citizen on 02/08/1912. In 1911, he and his wife lived at 4547 Marmion Way in Los Angeles.

Biographical Notes

His World War II draft registration card of 04/27/1942 indicated that he was Caucasian with a ruddy complexion, blue eyes and a bald head. At age 64, Neher stood 6-feet tall and weighed 201 pounds.
