Helen Findlay worked for architect Elmer Gray in Los Angeles, CA, in 1917-18. According to the Architect and Engineer 08/1922, p.110, "she built one house for her parents in San Francisco and got licensed." (email letter from Inge Horton to Alan Michelson, 03/24/2004.)
