"Kirtland Kelsey Cutter was Spokane's principal architect from 1888 to 1923. To Spokane he contributed the Davenport Hotel as well as a number of mansions for Spokane's elite. He also designed several large-scale Seattle houses and country clubs, as well as the original wing of the Rainier Club in downtown Seattle."
