Exhibition Notes

This show contained a number of pieces of furniture, lent by three donors: Jesse and Sylvia Epstein, Paul Hayden Kirk, and Chauncey Paxson. The pieces shown included those from the Paxsons all dating from 1966: a dining room table and four chairs, walnut desk, spindle-back bench, three-legged chair, one rope-seated chair, rocking chair, foot stool, double chest of drawers (right-hand chest) and one office chair. From Kirk, the exhibit displayed a left-arm lounge chair produced around 1960. And the Epsteins provided a dining table and two chairs.
