According to Woodbridge and Montgomery, Guide to Architecture in Washington State An Environmental Perspective (Seattle: University of Washington Press, 1980), "Similar designs were built on Capitol Hill and at the 1937 [sic] Chicago World's Fair, but this is the only one to remain." (p. 177.) It is not clear if Weyerhaeuser built a version of Reamer's experimental house at the 1933-1934 Chicago Century of Progress Exposition.
