Architect, Claude Beelman (1884-1963), designed the Superior Oil Company Building for William Myron Keck (1880–1964), its founder and President. Superior Oil, once the largest independent producer of petroleum in the US, was purchased by Mobil Oil Corporation in 03/1984 for $5.7 billion.
