Overview

The British-born architect Ernest Coxhead designed Episcopalian churches first in Southern CA, and, later, in the northern part of the state. This venue was the first church erected in Los Altos, CA, according to architectural historians Susan Dinkelspiel Cerny and Beth A. Armstrong. (See Susan Dinkelspiel Cerny, Beth A. Armstrong, An Architectural Guidebook to San Francisco and the Bay Area, [Salt Lake City: Gibbs Smith, 2007], p. 183.)

Building History

This Gothic Revival church served its parish until April 1961, after which it was sold to another congregation.
